Project Manager at DVSport R&D Hub

A DVSport Project Manager should be a enthusiastic problem solver who thrives on being engaged in all levels of the project success. To be successful, the project manager must be able to guide both the internal team in the DVSport R&D Hub and the external resources to ensure that the tone of the engagement and the delivery is on track. They must think quickly under pressure, motivate their team, and own the timely and accurate delivery of projects. The ability to read between the lines, anticipate issues, and communicate consistently and accurately across various project channels are key requirements. As a PM, you will learn the trade under the guidance of our Pittsburgh-based team that includes our Director of Technology, Replay Technology Expert and our Director of Purchasing and Logistics as well as our Replay Team that includes our Director of Replay and Assistant Director of Replay who work in the field.

Description of Duties

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures.
  • Identify trends and process improvement opportunities within operations.
  • Responsible for collaboration (with the technical and operational staff) of overall training of personnel at the R&D Hub – including tracking and assignment of training activities
  • Responsible for leading morning and/or afternoon daily stand-up calls to give updates on progress and evaluate the team’s plan for the following day
  • Responsible for the performance review of R&D Hub members including recommendations for termination/improvement/advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor operating performance against project plans, benchmarks and specifications
  • Provide concise and timely status reporting as required
  • Assist team members in resolving project problems, escalate issues when necessary, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Assist with achieving Replay Operations division strategic goals
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis
  • Develop and implement key metrics to measure and report on progress of initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures.
  • Develop cross-functional, change management and implementation strategies; ensure that all of the participating parties have committed to effective implementation of the processes and procedures.
  • Identify trends and process improvement opportunities across departments within operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, management, or related business field required.
  • Two or more years of related work experience.
  • PMP experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Microsoft Project or other pertinent project management software packages a plus.
  • Strong management, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) are required.
  • Excellent Project Management skills along with effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform planning for large initiatives/projects, managing all tasks required to providing services to meet client and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines.

Technical Support Engineers
We are hiring two technical support engineers, one would be working in our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA, an area that is consistently rated as one of the top rated to live in the country and an emerging center for high tech innovation. The second position would be on the west coast of the United States to support our clients in that area.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to serve as a versatile Technical Support Engineer.
What you need bring to the game:
Ability to multitask, work alone and with team members, and work well under pressure. Capable of providing timely and professional support to customers as well as internal team members. A successful track record of documenting processes and providing training for the internal support staff and for customers. This individual will also be responsible for providing input during the development of products, projects, and bids. The successful candidate will need to work closely and efficiently with various clients throughout the country and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems
  • Proficient in storage technologies such as RAID, NAS, SAN, SATA, SAS
  • In-depth networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Switches, Routers, VLAN’s, VPN Devices, DNS, WINS, DHCP
  • Proficient in managing Microsoft SQL Servers
  • Proficient in administering and deploying websites using IIS and SQL server
  • Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure VM’s, SQL and Blob storage
  • Scripting knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel at times

Technical Internship
DVSport is seeking full-time or part-time students to participate in our internship program.

Internship duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the building and maintaining of hardware for client use.
  • Testing and loading company software onto client hardware for use in the field.
  • Exercise quality control measures for all equipment before implementation by clients and DVSport staff .
  • Equipment includes but is not limited to, headsets, pagers, remote controls, shuttles, iPads, StillShot, Instant Replay, GameDay, FastBreak, etc
  • Assist with inventory control from all points of product life cycle from component stage to finished product stage.
  • Assist with logistical needs and ensure quality control procedures in shipping/receiving
  • Ensure that all products reflect our brand identity and commitment to client needs both stated and anticipated.

To be considered for the Intern program students must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at an institution of higher learning or accredited trade school and meet the following requirements:

  • Entering junior or senior year/nearing completion of their degree program.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Industrial System Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, related IT or Engineering discipline, Supply Chain Management, Sports Management, Business Administration.
  • Demonstrate working understanding and knowledge of the IT field including but not limited to programming and software systems.

Sales/Account Manager
DVSport, Inc. is actively looking for qualified candidates in the Sales & Account Management field. Primary responsibilities and duties for the position include but are not limited to:

  • Develop relationships with existing and potential clients in the Sports Marketplace. Assist with replay and coaching assignments as a by-product of this process.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction with products and support services through client interaction and working with the dedicated DVSport support group for all assigned accounts.
  • Maintain and further develop knowledge of DVSport’s products and services, and how they are applied in the marketplace.
  • Provide Weekly Sales and Account Reports specific to opportunities being pursued and existing accounts.
  • Qualify opportunities, prepare proposals and complete product demonstrations on-site.

Replay Technical Support Specialist (Pittsburgh, PA)

This position will interact daily with other members of the replay team and will be primarily responsible for the following as it pertains to DVSport replay products, training clients, providing technical support to our clients, perform internal regression testing, assist with building, deploying, and installing new replay systems, maintaining a record of replay system performance, and building relationships of trust with current clients.
Required skills and experience

  • Proven track record of a high level of customer service especially in high pressure situations.
  • Comfortable with training roles and being seen as a resource for co-workers and clients.
  • Experience in supporting computer software and hardware.
  • Ability to travel upwards of three weeks a month depending on season and company needs.
  • Highly organized with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects with concern.
  • Fluid schedule that allows weekend and evening work depending on season and company needs.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
